In this role as Senior Manager of Liner Shipping Network Design and Capacity Management, you will be at the forefront of overseeing the global container service network. Main responsibilities will involve managing Capacity Management agreements with partners, ensuring the efficient utilization of our network, and nurturing valuable partnerships with third-party slot sale/purchase entities.Client DetailsOur client is a confidential organization within the logistics and supply chain sector with the vision of becoming a leader across the market and industry.DescriptionTo protect interests by monitoring and ensuring all vessel-sharing agreements/contracts are implemented while developing and maintaining smooth relationships and cooperation between all alliances.Oversee partner capacity management of cargo on partner vessels and partner cargo on vessels) and resolve relevant issues.In relation to cargo on partner vessels and partner cargo on vessels, review and approve all internal and partners space requests/slot swap and initiate remedial action where requiredEnsure the changes - addition/reduction - of partner allocations on vessels allocations on partner vessels are properly and timely communicated to all concerned, as per the agreed threshold with Cluster CapacityCoordinate between alliance on blank sailing, omission of ports, overuse, etc. and relatedissuesOversee the monitoring of the utilisation of slots from side and assist (provide input) in maximizingutilisation.Manage and coordinate the slot payments and receivables.Coordinate mutual acceptance of hazardous reefers and out-of-gauge containers whenever required,especially when there is a dispute/disagreement.Establish and maintain healthy relationships with partners.Responsible on agile vessel deployment.Supervise monitoring and analysis volume distribution between partners and Trad management andupdate capacity systems to this effectManage and supervise the preparation and finalisation of Joint Working Procedures, OperatingProcedures, Slot sharing agreements and contracts.Ensure contractual documents are archived properly and maintained up to date.Provide input to the CCO team related to slot cost calculations.Provide KPI and feedback loop on the day-to-day functioning of VSA Agreements to enable taking suchfeedback into account in any review/revision/renegotiation of agreementsProfileUniversity degree in Maritime Transport / ShippingExperience in shipping operation preferably in ship planning/operation accountsExposure to alliance contracts, agreements, etc.Job OfferAttractive salary package and benefit structureOpportunity to be part of a rapidly growing team and organization
