Should you require any adjustments to assist during the application/hiring process please advise us.Project:A large luxury mixed-use development in the Umluj area of the kingdom.We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking senior project manager to join our established and growing team in Saudi.The role will be reporting to stakeholders, internal and external. To work closely with the client, sub-consultants and main contractors.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining key relationships with project partners, designers, contractors and other key stakeholders.
  • Setting up regular and clear lines of communication to address issues that may arise.
  • Attending regular site progress meetings and ensuring project director/team leader is updated on all issues.
  • Providing input to the project programme and ensuring contractors meet the requirements of the programme.
  • Managing and developing the team to ensure objectives are met and staff are supported.
  • Ensuring the management plan is followed and adhered to.
  • Ensuring all statutory undertakings are obtained and monitoring implementation.
  • Taking responsibility for ensuring safe project working practices are adhered to for all site personnel and taking appropriate action where necessary.
  • Preparing the handover schedule and ensuring any outstanding defects are rectified.
  • Providing necessary input to the monthly report for issuance to the client demonstrating all key aspects of the project.
  • Managing the construction activities from a project managers perspective.
  • Tracking of daily/weekly/monthly activities of the contractor(s)
  • Monitoring progress and reporting risks/issues.
  • Participating in assessing construction methodologies and reporting in compliances (quality, process, HSE etc.)
  • Assisting in the production of interim reports.
  • Interfacing directly with the consultants.
About youYou will have extensive construction experience in the delivery of multi discipline packages in an on-shore / off-shore environment. The position requires competent reviews of logistics control, which includes scanning areas, holding areas, batching plants, materials transport. You will have experience in remote rota based working, with proven performance in those environments with those type of contractors.With a relevant degree qualification, or an equivalent / relevant level of professional qualification. You will take professional development seriously and be continually striving to enhance your professional and academic advancement.You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
