This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.The infrastructure package consists of civils (structures), utilities, roads, and public realm elements. These works are undertaken concurrently across the project starting with the civils package.Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing all design-related aspects over several architectural assets to ensure consistency across all design and construction phases of various projects across a large master-planned development.
• Aligning of design management functions with other PMC functional targets.
• Ensuring that all reporting, and progress reporting are fully aligned with PMC reporting requirements.
• Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on consultants and/or contractors design progress.
• Ensuring designs are developed in compliance with established and approved project briefs.
• Monitoring and ensuring that consultants fulfil their contractual scope and deliverable obligations.
• Managing all design stages to ensure design consultants deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Managing BIM to the project programme and managed throughout all design stages.
• Capturing and monitoring of scope changes, with management in accordance with change management protocols.
• Ensuring client and 3rd party reviews are scheduled and aligned with approved project programmes.
• Aligning client- and statutory approvals with approved project programmes.
• Scheduling, coordinating, and closing out any detailed and/or peer reviews as (and when) required.
• Scheduling and participating in value engineering workshops.
• Scheduling, managing, and participating in regular constructability reviews.
• Preparing, assisting, supporting, and managing consultant scopes and project briefs.
• Providing input and support towards the preparation of RFP/ITT procurement packages.
• Researching, and evaluating consultant selection and appointment procedures.
• Evaluating consultants variations, claims and extension of times claims in connection with design services and -stages.
• Reviewing consultant and/or contractor design submissions and progress reports.

About youYou have a relevant degree in Architecture (preferable), Engineering or Construction Management, is a chartered/registered member of a relevant institution (e.g., RIBA/CIOB). You possess a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in high-end Residential, Hospitality, Retail, and Mixed-use projects, with recent high-rise tower experience preferable. You possess relevant sector-specific knowledge (with Middle East experience preferable), including Industry Standards and Terms of Reference, knowledge of RIBA, or other international work plans. You align and manage Project WBS and have experience in monitoring BIM requirements over project lifecycles. You can interrogate Project Programmes and critical paths. Experienced in the preparation and issuance of Project Briefs, Scopes of Services and RFP/ITT, and working knowledge of industry standards for measurement BUA, GFA, NIA, GIFA etc.You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
