The opportunityProject: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, maintaining, and implementing the site-wide lifting strategy, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabia regulations and the clients standards and policies.
• Advising site-wide cranage layout and configuration.
• Advising site-wide clash detection and avoidance systems and assure once installed.
• Advising site-wide communications process and systems for lifting activities.
• Supporting the contractors with crane layouts, particularly where there is potential for clashes and interfaces with other contractors.
• Chair regular lifting coordination meetings and publish the site-wide weekly lifting plan.
• Assuring the contractors lifting plans, including equipment and personnel involved in the lift.
• Identifying complex lifts and reviewing with the DP project managers, construction managers, and contractors.
• Ensuring full training and personnel records are maintained for all uptown south contractors lifting personnel.
• Developing and publishing reports relating to cranes and lifting (utilisation, audit results etc).
• Promoting an environment of best practices and continuous improvement with lifting operations.

About youYou have technical expertise in lifting operations, you can prepare and communicate lifting strategies, and you are an appointed person with a lifting operations (AP) qualification.You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams.
