Job Description

The role holder is responsible for supporting executive and senior management to achieve stc?s objectives by providing Business Continuity (BC), Disaster Recovery (DR) and Emergency Response (ER) subject matter expertise, advice and guidance to support strategic and operational decision-making, business and risk research and analysis, and providing additional adhoc BC, DR & ERM expert support, advice and guidance as required from time to time.The role holder is also responsible for providing BC, DR & ERM subject matter advice, support and guidance to support the development and maintenance of ?Combined Assurance?, also referred to as GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance) in stc. The role holder shall carry out his/her duties in accordance with stc?s business policies and procedures.?Support executive and senior management to achieve stc?s objectives by providing BC, DR & ERM subject matter expertise, advice and guidance to support strategic and operational decision-making, including:-Understanding and adopting leading practice BC, DR & ERM standards (e.g. ISO), practices and processes;-Researching, reviewing, preparing and delivering technical reports and analysis;-Providing technical briefings to senior and executive management as required;-Attending key decision-making, strategic and operational planning and any other meetings and/or events to provide expert technical support, advice and guidance as required;?Support and facilitate effective and efficient communication with all internal stc BC, DR & ERM and related teams and consultants.?Support and facilitate effective and efficient communication with all external BC, DR & ERM or related bodies, including providing technical advice, support, guidance and technical opinions as required.?Support and facilitate effective and efficient communication with Regulators with regard to any BC, DR & ERM matters, and any related regulatory, legal and/or compliance matters, including providing technical advice, support, guidance and technical opinions as required.?Develop and conduct technical BC, DR & ERM training and awareness programs for all stakeholders as required.?Support the identification and implementation of all required steps to comply with any relevant regulatory requirements.?Review & verify compliance with internal policies & procedures and with external regulations.?Provide BC, DR & ERM subject matter advice, support and guidance to support the development and maintenance of Risk Management & GRC in stc, including:-Facilitating embedding risk management in stc?s decision-making in key strategic, operational and business planning processes;-Supporting the identification and assessment of key and emerging risks;-Supporting the development and maintenance of mitigation plans for identified risks;-Identify strategic issue areas within stc, quantify their impact and prioritize them; -Support Risk Management & GRC technical, awareness and other training programs for all relevant stakeholders to take forward the vision of consistent and unified GRC practices.?Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide direction and technical support as required.e BC, DR & ERM subject matter advice, support and guidance to support the development and maintenance of Business Continuity, Risk Management & GRC in stc, including:?Facilitating embedding risk management in stc?s decision-making in key strategic, operational and business planning processes;?Supporting the identification assessment, monitoring and reporting of key risks, emerging risks and stc Top Risks;?Supporting the development and maintenance of mitigation plans for identified risks;?Supporting the development, maintenance, operation and reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRI?s) and related Key Performance Indicators (KPI?s) and Key Control Indicators (KCI?s);?Supporting the development, maintenance, operation and reporting of all other Risk Management & GRC metrics and tools (e.g. Risk Appetite, Impact Criteria, etc.), as required;?Support the development, maintenance, socialisation, compliance and implementation of GRC/ERM documentation including but not limited to Strategies, Policies, Manuals, Frameworks, Processes and Procedures;?Support the development, customisation, implementation, update, maintenance and operation of GRC/ERM tools and techniques;?Supporting the development, maintenance, operation and reporting of Top-Down and Bottom-Up Risk identification and analysis, and Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) exercises;?Identify strategic issue areas within stc, quantify their impact and prioritize them;?Supporting the development and delivery of all management and Board Risk Management & GRC reports as required;?
