The role holder is responsible for Developing & implementing best practices in risk management planning by keeping abreast of changes in external environment as well as Establishing a central repository for all active and historical BC, DR & ER projects & services using automated tools for efficient tracking & analysis also, Identifying operational resiliency improvements that can greatly enhance BUs ability to mitigate various interruptions. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.Leverage new methodologies to assess emerging risks by developing scenarios through use of simulations & what if analysesDevelop & implement best practices in risk management planning by keeping abreast of changes in external environmentDevelop and maintain all BCMS documentations (Policy, Framework, methodologies guidelines, standards, processes, procedures and templates etc..) and ensure they are regularly updated in alignment with the relevant stakeholders across the business.Consolidate and maintain STC Business Continuity Strategy and report strategy execution progressDevelop and consolidate a robust corporate recovery planConsolidate and report the identified BCMS nonconformities and GAPs and mitigation plans reportsEstablish a central repository for all active and historical BC, DR & ER projects & services using automated tools for efficient tracking & analysisManage BCM program and projects and facilitate, support execution and developmentAutomate and maintain the BCM modules in STC-GRC system Liaise with risk department and ensure adding continuity risk registers into ERM risk registerLiaise with Internal Audit to conduct audit program on BCMS and provide consolidated audit report.Liaise with People sector to define Business Continuity competencies, facilitate succession planning and establish KPIsCommunicate reports to relevant parties across STC, upwards to RMC, GRC, & Audit Committee, and laterally across Technology, BU?s & FU?sDevelop and conduct BCM culture program to ensure that STC management understand and apply their responsibilities towards BCM, and the development of BCM capabilities within their areas.Develop consolidated BCMS effectiveness reports Set, allocate, maintain and adjust business impact reference table based on top management guidelines and organization strategy
