Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the companys financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This involves overseeing the work of junior accounting staff, performing complex accounting tasks, and working closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS
  • Manage the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
  • Supervise and train junior accounting staff
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other complex accounting tasks
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks
  • Prepare reports and presentations to senior management on financial performance and projections
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
