The individual must have knowledge regarding students with significant emotional and behavioral disabilities, including cognitive delays. The individual should have strong behavior management skills and have the ability to work in a collaborative culture. The individual must have knowledge of common core learning standards, next generation science standards, and teaching strategies to differentiate instruction. Experience with writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), including progress monitoring, is desired. The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned.
