A Safety Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing safety systems in the workplace to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental damage. They ensure that engineering projects comply with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement safety plans and risk assessments for projects and operations.Ensure compliance with local and international safety codes and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and hazard analyses.Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with engineering and project teams to integrate safety into design and planning.Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.3–5 years of experience in a safety engineering or HSE role, especially in construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
