We are looking for a qualified and proactive Safety Engineer to develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures across our project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local and international safety standards to minimize risks and protect workers, property, and the environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and enforce site-specific health and safety plansConduct risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSAs)Monitor daily site operations to identify unsafe conditions and behaviorsEnsure compliance with local labor laws, HSE regulations, and client requirementsLead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actionsConduct regular safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talksMaintain and submit safety reports, statistics, and documentationCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure safety is integrated into all activitiesTrain employees and subcontractors on HSE practices and emergency response proceduresImplement and promote a strong safety culture across the organizationRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related fieldCertified in NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certificationsMinimum 2 to 4 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in construction, oil & gas, or heavy industriesKnowledge of ISO 45001 and OSHA standardsStrong understanding of hazard identification and risk managementExcellent communication and report-writing skillsAbility to work in high-pressure and site-based environments
