Rigger M/F Rigger M/FPosition description Job titleRigger M/F Contract typeContracted Roles and responsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities:* Carry out instructions issued by the vessel Master and Officers, the Shift Supervisor and the Deck Foremen on board* Responsible for the preparation and execution of all lifting, slinging and rigging operations according to the Deck Foreman requirements* Responsible for completing their own on board development of skills and competencies (stage II - Continuous Personal Development) with the support of the Deck Foreman ADDITIONAL when certified as AB: * Responsible for the preparation and execution of all deck operations (mooring, shifting, anchoring, loading, moving & stowing) and overall maintenance operations (painting, chipping, cleaning)* Responsible for carrying out lookout and watch activities according to the Chief Officers requirements* Prepare, handle and use all rigging equipment and accessories* Perform pre and post use inspections of all rigging equipment and accessories* Perform maintenance of rigging equipment and accessories* Perform deck maintenance (i.e. painting, chipping, housekeeping, etc.)* Assist Deck Foreman in managing rigging loft and rigging inventory* Handle cargo during loading / unloading operations* Attend toolbox talks at the start of each shift and sign the relevant form* Fill their own log book to record their on board activities before getting it verified and stamped* Perform hand-over at the end of each shift with opposite shifts rigger* ADDITIONAL - Prepare, handle and use all equipment and accessories related to deck operations (mooring, shifting, anchoring, loading, moving & stowing) and overall maintenance operations (painting, chipping, cleaning)* ADDITIONAL ?
