Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the patient access department, including scheduling, registration, check-in, eligibility, pre-authorization and notification, and payments, deductibles, and co-payments.Oversees the work of patient access staff and ensures that they are providing high-quality customer service to patients.Monitors patient access metrics and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce wait times.Works with other hospital departments to ensure that patients have a smooth and seamless experience throughout their care journey.Respects patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.Participates in and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.Performs other job related duties, as assignedJob Qualifications and Experience:Minimum or Required: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare profession (i.e. Nursing, Pharmacy) or any related field.
