The role holder is responsible to provide inputs for Regulatory accounting requirements including account separation. The role holder is also responsible to review and monitor payments related to government fees & expenses, spectrum and numbering resources including conducting relevant optimization studies. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with STC stipulated business policies and procedures.Managerial Responsibilities Participates in the development and implementation of the Regulatory Financial Management plans, in line with the corporate objectives. Directs and manages the Regulatory Financial Management Section mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards. Interprets and implements change in Regulatory Financial Management Section providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement. Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Regulatory Financial Management Section. Core Responsibilities Financial Activities: Provides inputs for Regulatory accounting and cost regulation requirements including account separation Drives activities related to payment of Government dues & royalties Conducts Government fees optimization studies Reviews and monitor all payments related to regulatory government fees & expenses Reviews and monitor payments of spectrum, and numbers assignment fees, in order to ensure compliance with regulations and avoid any excess payments Manages Financial activities and budget related to Spectrum Licenses and Numbering Prepares detailed periodic reports highlighting key aspects, analysis and recommendations regarding STC payments, and submit to management People Management Responsibilities Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the STC performance management process. Directs planning and selection of manpower in the Regulatory Financial Management Section, in line with the business and operational plans. Ensures high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members within the Regulatory Financial Management Section. Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Director Regulatory Economic & Financial Studies in order to meet objectives.
