Job Description

Location: DharahdescriptionAs˙Quality and Risk Coordinator you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate all activities related to Quality management.
  • Oversee implementation of Quality Procedures and Policies throughout the hospital.
  • Implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to comply with accreditation standards (MOH, JCIA, CBAHI, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain hospital-wide standards for Quality Management.
  • Prepare, review, and evaluate procedures and policies related to Quality Management.
  • Influence and motivate staff for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and document quality care incidents.
  • Monitor service standards to improve incident findings.
  • Participate in Quality Management Committee activities.
  • Collaborate with administrative and medical staff to maintain patient care standards.
  • Plan and prepare Quality Management Reports monthly and annually.
  • Report any occurrences not consistent with hospital operations or service standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis as necessary.
  • Conduct environmental rounds and documentation audits.
  • Collect and analyze performance data against defined parameters.
  • Provide patient and family education.
  • Identify and deliver relevant quality-related training.
  • Adhere to safety and security measures.
  • Participate in the Hospital Educational Quality Program.
  • Assume duties and responsibilities for Quality Management activities.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to address issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics related to Quality Management.
  • Dress appropriately for the work area.
  • Build key partnerships within the organization.
  • Comply with regulations related to mentoring, training, and development.
  • Comply consistently with facility policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Complete and maintain regulatory requirements (licensure, certification, training).
  • Maintain confidentiality of information exchanged.
  • Prioritize and recommend improvements according to the PDCA cycle.
  • Ensure cost-effective quality care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Promote the hospitals image by improving patient satisfaction.
  • Perform other assigned tasks within knowledge, skills, and abilities.
