Job Description

Job Title: QRadar SIEM AdministratorJob Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QRadar SIEM Administrator. The QRadar SIEM Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our QRadar SIEM infrastructure, including configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting the software and hardware components. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM QRadar SIEM, as well as a strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain the QRadar SIEM infrastructure, including hardware and software components, to ensure that the system is collecting and analyzing security data from various sources.
• Monitor the QRadar SIEM system to detect and respond to security incidents and events in real-time.
• Tune the QRadar SIEM system to ensure that it is generating accurate alerts and reports and is providing timely and actionable insights to the security team.
• Manage and maintain QRadar SIEM integrations with other security tools and systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the QRadar SIEM system and other IT systems.
• Analyze security data and alerts generated by the QRadar SIEM system to identify patterns and trends that may indicate potential threats or attacks.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure that the QRadar SIEM system and other IT systems are in compliance with applicable security regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that security controls are integrated across all systems and applications.
• Provide training and support to other IT staff on the use of the QRadar SIEM system and best practices for security monitoring and incident response.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in managing and maintaining QRadar SIEM infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge of IBM QRadar SIEM, including configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with other security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Security QRadar SIEM, are a plus.
