Key Responsibilities: Monitor and inspect welding activities to ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and specifications.Review welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material certifications.Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of welds and associated workmanship.Perform or witness non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.Identify and document non-conformities, recommend corrective actions.Ensure proper implementation of welding procedures and safety standards.Maintain detailed inspection records and reports.Liaise with fabrication team, QA/QC department, and clients for quality assurance.Requirements: Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent recognized certification.Proven experience in QC inspection of steel structures and welding.Knowledge of welding codes (ASME, AWS, etc.) and NDT methods.Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Hourly or rental basis preferred.
