Job Description

OverviewWe are currently recruiting an experienced Project Control Lead to work on a one-of-a-kind rail megaproject in the Middle East.This role will be responsible for leading the project planning, programme and control of the Regional Rail and Urban Mobility projects for its successful delivery, within budget and to provide the best customer experience.Location-          Saudi-Arabia  Duration-           Permanent Responsibilities

  • Planning, scheduling and delivery activities within the Land Mobility team which is focused on Rail projects across Metro, Freight and High Speed Rail lines.
 
  • Procure and manage resources required by the Land Mobility team
 
  • Prepare necessary documents and coordinating with relevant stakeholders on issues related to the tender preparation and evaluation, variations orders, contracts closeout, work orders for various rail projects.
 
  • Manage the procurement of rail systems delivery and operations & maintenance planning contracts
 
  • Oversee, manage and control project programme, costs, variances, critical activities and risks and contingency within the project life cycle, through analysis and options evaluation including:
    • Overall project delivery
    • Reporting
    • Change Management / Forecasting
    • Analysis and Tracking
    • Risk Assessment
 
  • Manage tasks/projects from concept and planning to delivery, in an environmentally responsible manner, to time, cost and quality
 
  • Ensure collaborative partnerships with delivery team and other key parties in the supply chain
 Required Experience
  • 10+ years experience in a similar role within a rail network environment, ideally involved with a megaproject $1bn+
 
  • Have been involved in the Planning, Programming and Control of a rail project through various phases of the project lifecycle
 
  • Experience with various disciplines found in the rail environment
 
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering or Transportation Planning
