Job Description

The job holder is responsible for supporting the Projects Program Manager in day-to-day project execution duties.Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the contract in completion of planned project activities.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure all activities are completed in the required timeline.
  • Ensure Contractor obtains all required approvals for all project documentation.
  • Manage all project internal and external interfaces.
  • Update and review progress on weekly basis and highlight areas of concern that require intervention.
  • Prepare and issue weekly progress reports for projects.
  • Prepare periodic slides for executive management presentation
Project management support
  • Support Project Manager in project execution, field visits, and technical project review
  • Compile inputs to prepare project planning reports
Solar project implementation support
  • Support in supervising the ESCOs responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of projects
  • Support in the Project Manager in managing the relationship with the Government entity
Post-installation support
  • Support the supervision of O&M services provided
  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring that the performance guarantees are satisfied
  • Liaise with Finance / Legal to resolve any issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or any related field
  • CEM / CMVP certification is preferred
  • SEC designer or installer solar certification is preferred
Experience & Skills
  • (3 -6) years in a project management role with responsibility for the performance of contractors; preferably with solar system installation experience within ESCO (or EPC) industry experience
  • Interpersonal: Professional proficiency of English required; fluency in Arabic is a must; effective communication skills (written and verbal); effective time management skills; ability to manage concurrent projects
  • Technical: Technical knowledge relating to building retrofits and potential savings
