Job Description

Role Objective:To manage the site execution of the project within time, cost, productivity and quality requirements while adhering to the company?s quality and safety practices?To assign and distribute efficiently the available resources, materials, subcontractors and equipment on the project.STRATEGIC

  • Assists in the introduction/applying new methods of construction and machinery used to improve the construction process.
  • Promotes a culture of logistic planning and productivity measurement.
  • Promotes a culture of minimizing material wastage and enhance labor/equipment usage.
OPERATIONAL
  • Ensures construction work of assigned project is executed within target time frames and budgeted cost.?
  • Optimizes manpower productivity, equipment, and materials allocation, and ensures no materials are wasted on assigned part of site.
  • Assigns responsibilities to on-site staff as per directions.
  • Implements health and safety requirements in coordination with HSE team.
  • Supervises staff attendance and productivity.
  • Interfaces/coordinates with sub-contractors to ensure compliance of project?implementation with construction schedule.
  • Assists with preparation of construction schedule, manpower histogram, submittal log, and drawing log, and any changes thereof, in coordination with concerned stakeholders for initial project planning.
  • Assists with preparation of two-week look ahead schedules for project implementation.
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders on preparation of all project submittals and drawings.
  • Ensures placement of Amana logo on site panels.
  • Issues material requisition forms.?
  • Oversees purchase and delivery of required materials, and inflow/outflow of site store materials, follows up with suppliers to verify materials received.?
  • Attends project related meetings with internal and external stakeholders as required.?
  • Interfaces/interacts with consultants/supervisors on site-related matters and ensures good relations with them.
  • Coordinates with the Project Manager against any shop drawings clashes.
  • Issues Inspection Request to the QA/QC team to inspect the activities.
  • Reviews the Variations/Change Orders/Time extensions to give feedback about the impact on the project.
  • Assists in the preparation of the project close out reports
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
  • Assigns tasks and responsibilities to Site Engineers and foremen as per given directions.
  • Assists in the training and development of team members.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
