Role: Responsible for working within all stages of project management and leading part of the project control team and ensuring that all budgeting, scheduling, and coordination processes are met.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 9 years experience in project control with experience in managing a team. Expert understanding in the application of Project Controls Processes and Procedures including Cost, Schedule, Risk Management, and Change Management Expert in the use of Project and Programme Management software toolsEducation: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering, or any related degree.Skills: Interpersonal: Professional proficiency of English required; fluency in Arabic preferred; effective communication skills (written and verbal); effective time management skills; ability to manage concurrent projects Technical: Technical knowledge relating to project planning and control.Primary Accountabilities- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and cost control efforts for all project phases, to maintain and analyze actual and for forecasted schedules, cost and risk and to monitor, report and manage deviations.- Development of project control tools, systems, training, implementation, and follow-up to ensure proper utilization.- Participates in Project Procurement, Contracting, and Contract Administration activities to ensure they align with project controls processes and overall project objectives- Assisting the identification of risks, preventive measures, or corrective actions, as much as required to improve the project status and mitigate the risks.- Taking the leading role for the preparation of the Project Procedures and for setting up of the main control systems and tools for Cost, Progress, and Schedule, both at the project launching stage and then on an ongoing basis.- Acting as a major contributor to the development of the Project (scope of work, cost, and schedule) and of the Project Execution Plan.- Reviewing and validating the project schedules and detailed development of the- approved project budget.- Reviewing schedules and the detailed budget to the approval of the Project Director, then ensuring their communication to the relevant project stakeholders.- Managing on an ongoing basis the integration of the project cost control, schedule, and progress management systems in order to ensure they remain aligned and consistent together.- Reviewing and validating the documents prepared by team or others (engineering deliverables list, material requisition list, procurement status, progress monitoring structures:, schedules, cost control (in line with Finance in ERP structure)).- Monitoring the staffing plans, man-hour status, and material quantities status.- Analyzing the actual and forecast statuses for cost, progress, and schedule.- Assisting with cash-flow in/out the forecast.- Driving the financial and cost input to support the preparation of Change Orders and/or Claims.- Ensuring timely production of the project close-out and feedback reports at the end of the project.
