Job Description

PLANNING ENGINEER - MECHANICALThe Planning Engineer should be a well-organized self-starter with great attention to detail.Day-to-day responsibilities include drawing up work schedules and budgets, delegating tasks, analyzing project specifications and finding cost-effective ways to meet them, liaising with staff and suppliers, managing resources, and communicating with managers, and other engineers. The Planning Engineer should be able to analyze data, write reports, and deliver presentations to various stakeholders.The successful Planning Engineer should demonstrate a sound knowledge of the relevant Engineering discipline and be able to anticipate problems. Outstanding Planning Engineers should have great attention to detail and be able to handle stress well.The successful candidate shall be based in our factory in Sudair Industrial City.SCOPE OF WORK

  • To work together with the Production and Design Engineers to formulate overall solution to achieve the intended objective(s) and ensuring success of projects.
  • Understanding project specifications and developing the Production Method, Time Schedules and Budgets that meet them.
  • Analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates.
  • Identify the required resources to complete the work: manpower, equipment, tools, and tooling.
  • Develop?and document Production Method ?and develop standard operating procedures of production for specific products and projects.
  • Distribute the agreed Production Method and SOP?s, to the stakeholders including staff, supervisors, managers, and the rest of the team.
  • Delegating Tasks
  • Observing existing processes, analyzing staff performance, and addressing deficiencies accordingly.
  • Monitoring and tracking project progress and writing up reports.
  • Support cost tracking organization to forecast projects based on changes to scope and schedule updates.
  • Understanding and meeting all contract requirements.
  • Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budgets.
