3+ years? experience in marketing, communications and/or social and digital media
Demonstrated ability to grasp complex concepts quickly and adapt to a fast-past, fluid environment
An understanding of or eagerness to learn about the media and marketing landscape; create, launch, and manage communications programs that help us achieve our objectives
A proven ability work under pressure and tight deadlines, including the ability to manage several projects concurrently; demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong presence and excellent interpersonal skills (many of your interactions will be remote)
Strong project management and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail, and superior work ethic
Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Meltwater and Hootsuite a plus
Strong editorial judgment: ability to rapidly absorb complex ideas and distill them into accessible copy for global audiences
WHO YOULL WORK WITHYou will report to the Global Communications Director for our Growth, Marketing & Sales (GM&S) Practice and be based in one of our US offices. This role will work closely with our global communications team, global practice leaders, and Sciences for Growth and solutions leaders.With each product launch, you will strive to create distinctive, inspiring product marketing campaigns to elevate our portfolio of tech-enabled assets and our people who power these assets both internally and externally.The GM&S communications team hires individuals who bring energy, creative and innovative ideas and practical experience in an ever-changing environment. Members of our team are not only passionate about strategic marketing and communications, but are also committed to collaboration through effective communication, continuous process enhancement and a team-first approach.WHAT YOULL DOYou will be responsible for elevating the practice?s portfolio of tech-enabled capabilities and elevating our eminence in the market.This includes go-to-market messaging, developing launch materials and playbooks, creating named cases, supporting the integration of acquired brands, and helping to lead our analyst relations. You will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.You will be deeply passionate about product marketing, influencer marketing, and internal and external communications to reach and sustain engagement with key stakeholders, clients, and prospective clients.You will bring storytelling skills to effectively create and manage all of the content that goes into a product marketing plan ? and the ability to infuse creativity into the process to deliver distinctive launches.You will collaborate with other communications colleagues across GM&S, McKinsey Digital, and others leading and supporting all aspects of product marketing and communications (internally and externally).You will lead product launches ? including go-to-market messaging, one voice playbook, branding/visual systems, briefing, dotcom, and communications plan working with external agencies. This includes close coordination with global leaders to ensure a cohesive execution across the board. You will also lead our radiation efforts including media relations alignment, social media, and dotcom.You will help build named uses cases (case studies) for our solutions that can be used for media and with clients/prospective clients.You will help lead our analyst relations program with our leaders, maintain and develop relationships with key analysts, support briefings and on-site analyst meetings (in close partnership with our external agency); support the development of quarterly analyst relations newsletter.You will also support the integration of acquired brands, including messaging, branding, and communications plan.
