Mace is currently bidding for this programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing the current supply chain market status.
• Developing procurement strategies with workstream leads.
• Assisting and compiling initial long and short lists of vendors/suppliers.
• Running and managing the procurement process.
• Understanding of procurement concepts, standards and practices as applied in the engineering and construction industry.
• Delivering project processes and relationship expectations with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and the project team.
• Being the focal point of contact for all matters relating to the acquisition of goods and services for a project during the proposal process.
• Providing the necessary written, graphic, and pricing/cost information in support of the proposal process.
• Providing preliminary risk assessment related to the procurement activities assumed by the proposed prime contract.
• Assessing the mitigation of risk assumed by the proposed prime contract.
• Participating in the development of programme and project execution plans.
• Ensuring full compliance with the PMOs procurement policies and procedures
• Maintaining the performance metrics to measure the performance of the programme about cost savings, on-time performance and quality of goods and services.
• Assisting in the resolution of purchase orders and disputes.
