Looks for ways to introduce new technology to enhance companyprofitability and productivity. Responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions indesign through Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and Design Best Practices. Represents Saudi Aramco indealings with vendors, manufacturers and/or design firms where expert engineering advice in his/her expertiseis required.ResponsibilitiesDUTY1 / effort % (020)Provides expert advice and assistance to Company organizations, outsidevendors,manufacturers, and design firms on matters relating to his/her area ofexpertise.DUTY2 / effort % (020)Originates and carries out engineering studies to determine potentialproblems andremedies to existing problems, resolve complex technical problems,increase revenue,optimize processes, protect the environment, or improve safety.DUTY3 / effort % (010)Develops and maintains Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and DesignBest Practices,Design Manuals or other documentation to enhance company profitability,safety andproductivity.DUTY4 / effort % (010)Evaluates and introduces new technologies to help the Company achieveBest in Classpositions in the company business.DUTY5 / effort % (010)Reviews and evaluates the capabilities of vendors and contractors todetermine theiracceptability to perform major services to Saudi Aramco. Acts asAramcos representativein dealings with vendors and manufacturers pertaining to his/her fieldof experience.DUTY6 / effort % (010)Works on or with Task Forces assigned to investigate incidents or solvespecific problems.Undertakes special assignments requiring extensive technical experienceand discretionwhen dealing with outside organizations.DUTY7 / effort % (010)Promotes a learning environment and continuous development to improveexpert status withinhis/her specialty. Acts as a mentor to junior engineers.
