Job Description

Our ClientCurrently hiring a Principal Smart Cities Consultant with a Digital Transformation Company in Saudi Arabia.Your responsibilities will include

• Reviews customer operations and performs needs assessment to identify business process improvement opportunities
• Drives Digital Transformation Agenda and Strategy with Clients and maps them to their business needs
• Lead the conceptualization, design, and delivery of end-to-end solutions for smart cities, incorporating various technologies such as IoT devices, sensor networks, data analytics platforms, and intelligent automation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including urban planners, engineers, data scientists, and software developers, to ensure the successful execution of complex projects.
• Develops a clear solution map with partners to address their needs anddrives a growth strategy from a solution perspective to win top clients large projects (10x) including a strategy to win against competition solutions.
• Prepares and present assessment findings to prospects and clients to validate sales opportunity and advance sales based on ROI.
• Responds to functional and technical components of RFIs and RFPs to validate decision criteria.
• Delivers functional solution demonstrations to persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
• Collaborates with account teams to support lead generation activities and to generate product collateral which supports the sales effort.
• Builds and maintains a network and stay up to date on specific industry, regulatory and/or product knowledge.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in computer science, Social Science or Business, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to present technologies as business solutions with competitive and hands-on knowledge.
• Should possess strong understanding of key developments in Smart City Development.
• Strong expertise in IoT technologies, data analytics, cloud computing, and connectivity protocols.
• Lead workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate internal teams and clients about smart city technologies, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory and compliance standards related to data privacy, security, and urban development to ensure solutions are aligned with legal and ethical considerations.
• Ability to understand the needs of nontechnical customers, to conceptualize, launch and deliver technology enabled business change projects.
• Leadership qualities and ability to coordinate physical and virtual resources and initiatives.
• Experience in identifying and successfully executing on digital disruptions including quantified business outcomes.
• Specialty skills including Enterprise Architecture, IT Portfolio Lifecycle Optimization, Organizational Design and Change Management, IT Governance, etc.
• Proven history of successfully working effectively with cross-functional teams at varying resource levels, both internally and with customer organizations.
• Extensive experience within related advisory services, management/technology consulting.
• Minimum 5 years of Saudi experience preferred.
