Responsibilities1. Surface Preparation:• Clean and prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.• Remove old plaster, dust, oil, and debris to ensure good adhesion.• Apply bonding agents or mesh where required.2. Mixing Materials:• Mix plaster, cement, or other compounds to the correct consistency.• Use manual or mechanical mixers to prepare materials based on job specifications.3. Applying Plaster:• Apply coats of plaster using trowels, floats, or spray machines.• Build up layers — scratch coat, brown coat, and finish coat — depending on the system.• Ensure even thickness and smooth surface finishes.4. Leveling and Smoothing:• Use straight edges, spirit levels, and floats to level and smooth surfaces.• Fill cracks, holes, and joints for a seamless finish.• Apply finishing textures if required (e.g., sponge finish, swirl, smooth, etc.).5. Repairs and Maintenance:• Patch damaged plaster surfaces on walls or ceilings.• Reapply plaster in renovation or maintenance projects.6. Site Cleanliness & Tool Care:• Keep the work area clean and organized.• Clean and maintain tools and equipment after use.• Safely dispose of waste materials.7. Safety and Compliance:• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.• Use scaffolding and ladders safely when working at height.• Report any hazards or structural issues noticed during work.Required Skills:• Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina• Knowledge of plastering materials and techniques• Ability to read drawings and surface finish specifications• Attention to detail and quality
