The Construction Project Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of construction projects. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to align activities, resources, and milestones, while proactively identifying and mitigating potential delays.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using software tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or similarCollaborate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and clients to gather project scope and requirementsAnalyze project timelines, resource allocations, and critical paths to optimize project deliveryMonitor progress against schedules and update forecasts regularlyIdentify potential risks or delays and recommend corrective actionsPrepare and present progress reports and status updates to management and stakeholdersCoordinate and facilitate project meetings related to scheduling and planningEnsure alignment of procurement, construction activities, and subcontractor schedulesMaintain accurate documentation of project timelines, changes, and approvalsSupport project cost control through effective scheduling and resource managementQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related fieldExperience in construction project planning and schedulingProficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and contract typesKnowledge of project management principles and best practices
