Job Description

Supervise the activities of the Safety Advisors within the Safety Division and, through the implementation of SATORP Safety Management System (SMS), policies and procedures, in accordance with national and international requirements and standards. Ensure that SATORP HSE Policy and values are well understood and adopted by company employees and contractors.Supervises the activities of Safety Advisors providing support and monitoring for SATORP operating organizations in the implementation of Safety Management System, Policies and Procedures ensuring compliance and continual improvement.Description : Lead, coach, guide and support Safety Advisors to conduct compliance reviews and KPIs analysis to achieve company safety goals and objectives.Ensure compliance to HCIS Safety directives.Support in the development and enhancement of safety management systems (Safety Management System, Process Safety Management, ISO 45001)Assist the Safety Superintendent in identifying safety advisors training needs and career development to recommend training and development plan.Support and advise the Safety Superintendent on the resolution of safety concerns.Promote and exhibit safety leadership and commitment.Provides support to all SATORP Departments in the identification, assessment and management of hazards and corresponding risks through the evaluation of prevention and mitigation measures.Develop and maintain safety initiatives including off the job safety across the company and promote a sustainable robust safety culture supported by personal behavior.Support all Departments in the development, communication, audit and review of SMS.Track the progress of planned safety schedules (Emergency drills, Management safety walkthroughs, and quarterly safety inspections) and their recommendations.Coordinate and participate in HSE incident reporting, classification, investigations and lesson learn including follow up of recommendations.Support the Safety Superintendent in the development, update and analysis of safety goals, objectives and KPIs.Participate in the development, planning and implementation of safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.Support in implementing Contractor Safety Management as per SATORP SMS requirements (example; Safety Plans, Training programs,Qualification, Hazard Identification Plans (HIPs), etc?).Manage and participate in the development of pre-incident plans for all SATORP facilities in cooperation with all Departments.Participate in emergency drills and exercises.Support and guide Process Safety Management and application in SATORP through policies, procedures and safety advisors.Job Specific Skills :Saudi Nationality.Less than forty five (45) years old.10 years of experience in safety.Approval from HCIS.Strong command of oral and written English.Good Physical Health.Good knowledge of process safety management.Good knowledge of Safety management system development and implementation.Good knowledge of Hazard identification and quantitative and qualitative risk analysis and analytical skills.Good knowledge of Safety behavior improvement.Good knowledge of Incident/injury prevention.Ability to continuously drive for process improvement.Strong interpersonal communication skills.Good leadership skills.Requirements:Bachelor?s Degree with (10 +) years of experience in Safety/Operation in a Refining or petrochemical facility.You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
