Job Description

The role holder is responsible for directing the People Welfare activities for STC by ensuring execution of plans and programs related to key People services like People Care Centre, Grievances, Health Services, Offers and Events. The role holder shall carry out job duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.- Participates in the development and implementation of the People Services General Directorate plans, in line with the corporate objectives. - Directs and manages the People Welfare Department mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards. - Manages and controls change in the People Welfare Department providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement. - Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the People Welfare Department.- Participates in the strategy formulation by providing support and inputs to the General Manager ? People Services. - Leads implementation of the Sector strategy and develops policies and procedures for the People Welfare Department to drive achievement of the desired objectives.- Manage people care centers activities and ensure employees enquiries and complains are resolved within time and quality. - Oversees the assigned employee cases investigations and assists in recommending decisions based on collected information- Ensures to maintain employee?s inquiries in required system and guide the analysis of data for further enhancement and improvement.- Oversees the building of employees queries communication channels, and ensures respective Sectors engagement with their employees, in order to maintain an open door policy and therefore assist in understanding employees issues and challenges.- Guides the development of People Welfare policy with ensuring the proper policy is applied, and on regular bases guide the review and identification of enhancement opportunities in the policy. - Oversees the management of referred grievances by CEO or People VP offices to the right grievances procedures.- Guide the development and delivery of employee satisfaction survey and ensure the analysis of surveyor?s feedback on People Care policies, procedures and services, in order to identify employee?s satisfaction levels and identify/implement enhancement changes accordingly.- Leads the Investigate Labor violations submitted by STC internal customers and guides appropriate disciplinary action in regards to HQ/districts (attendance, performance appraisal, Nafis, appointments, and work environment) issues.- Leads employee benefits vendors? management and guide the negotiation with partners taking into consideration STC and employee?s interests.- guides the management of all services/products promotions presented to STC employees , with ensuring synergizing offers and promotions with STC subsidiaries- Oversees the benchmarking and negotiations sessions with vendors to ensure best prices are offered to STC.- Oversees the management and execution of events and exhibitions in HQ and Distracts, with ensuring dedicated and unique offers are provided for STC employees.- Guides the development and delivery of employee commercial satisfaction survey and ensure the analysis of surveyor?s feedback on offers/promotions and provide output to partners when needed. - Manages Internal and external events program project so they are planned, organized and delivered seamlessly. - Guides all STC employee event projects end-to-end from concepts to delivery to support STC sectors and ensures event activities are in compliance with applicable regulations and laws.- Directs caterings requests as per STC business need and guidelines.- Maintains project data including participant numbers and details, feedback, comments and document activities via photographs and video recordings- Ensures the delivery of a positive image both internally and externally by displaying high standards of professionalism, politeness, conduct and service.- Oversees the management of health services, which includes and not limited to; medical insurance provisioning, administration of medical insurance claims, utilization of all healthcare services fund.- Oversees the management of health check initiative for all executives
