Job Description

PDI Foreman | Al Futtaim Automotive | Electric MobilityOverview of the role:Ensure PDI centre is focussed towards high standards of Associate & Customer Engagement. Sustains high quality of Production & Process standards. Maintains benchmark.Participate in training and continual improvement processes. Ensure PDI centre follows SOP & adheres to Company agreed SLA. Ensure Kaizen initiatives in PDI centre is implemented, improved & sustained. Ensure HSSE Standard & AFM Standard in PDI Centre is always maintainedÿWhat you will do:ÿÿÿ

  • Ensure PDI & PPO Operations is producing quality work, maximising output & minimizing work stoppage to meet Sales demand.
  • Ensure SOP is followed by all sections of PDI & PPO at all times.
  • Ensure 5S & Kaizen initiates are implemented & sustained.
  • Ensure new models & special action models Product, PDI, PPO training is done.
  • Maintains high standard of Teamwork and Efficiency improvement initiatives.ÿ
  • Focus on Staff Development & relevant training needs are supported & facilitated through In-house & AF Group training as required.ÿ
  • Ensure Teamwork & Performance oriented culture amongst Associates.
  • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, higher efficiencies through Kaizen, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, resolving concerns & on time reporting of production summaries.
  • Ensure compliance of HSSE standard at all times by ASU Associates & Outsourced Manpower
  • Accident and incident reporting & counter measure to reduce accident to zero.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
