The Nursing Shift Supervisor is a member of the Nursing Administration team, providing 24 hours, 7 days per week continuous operational management of the hospital especially clinical supervision. He/she provides nursing administrative support in problem solving, trouble shooting and act as a resource person. Ensures patients receive the best level of care within available resources and nursing staff receive the level of support they require.- EDUCATION/ LICENSURE:- Graduate of Professional School of Nursing. - Bachelor?s Degree from accredited university.- Current license to practice as Registered Nurse.- Master?s Degree holder is preferable.- Has valid SCFHS license.- BLS and ACLS is a must.- PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:- Has worked as staff nurse for a minimum of six (6) years.- Has experience in nursing administrative position minimum of four (4) years.
