- The Nurse Educator providing staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leaders and researcher. Each supports the development of the bedside nurse, and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced based nursing practice. This occurs through the facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessment, continuing education and leadership development. In addition, as a role model of professional behavior.- Nurse Educator is instrumental in creating a professional nursing climate within Nursing Department to meet the needs of the diverse units. - To provide nursing professional development and ensure a quality of educational programs and experiences by assisting nurses in preparing for contemporary practice and supporting them in acquiring the knowledge and skills so that they can competently collect patient health data, analyse the data to determine diagnoses, identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient, develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcomes, implement the interventions identified in the plan of care, and evaluate the patient?s progress toward attainment of the outcomes.- To determine and prepare licensed nurses for entry into practice position to meet the institutions competency requirements for the nursing staff.- To also promote the best quality care for patient. EDUCATION/LICENSURE:-Graduate of Professional School of Nursing.- Bachelor?s Degree from accredited university.- Current license to practice as Registered Nurse from country of origin.- Accredited in Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).- MSN is preferable.- PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:- Has worked as staff nurse for a minimum of six (6) years.
