Research topics may include analysis and calibration of sedimentary processes, quantitative sequence stratigraphy, or the process-based integration of a wide range of geological and analytical data sets.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate must be able to work with different types of sedimentary data and have a strong qualitative and quantitative understanding of carbonate and clastic depositional systems. This understanding must be exhibited in the applicability of sedimentary prediction, primarily but not limited to conventional reservoirs for O&G exploration and/or CO2 storage. Candidates must have excellent interpretation, report writing, and oral communications skills and be able to work collaboratively and constructively with a wide range of multidisciplinary researchers, developers and operational groups within exploration and production. They will be expected to help train younger professionals and technicians.
