We offer opportunities for qualified people who want to grow in our high-performance organization.Partner with the bestThe IWS&S Wellsite Supervisor leads and coordinates all Baker Hughes work at the wellsite. You will interact with the customer and leads all elements of the operations including Baker Hughes products, services, and contracted parties. The main objective is to conduct all well operations including drilling, completion, or workover operations safely in accordance with the approved well program and in compliance with the applicable policies, standards and any other governance documents within the allocated time, cost, and optimal resources.As a IWS&S Wellsite Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the Baker Hughes HSE authority at the wellsite, assures compliance to HSE standards and promotes a performing HSE culture on the rig site.
  • Leading Baker Hughes integrated well services and operations on the rig in close cooperation with customer, drilling rig contractor, other contractors, and Baker Hughes Product Lines.
  • Planning and managing rig moves in a safe and efficient manner and checking, reporting on the status of the preparation of the next location in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that all the required documentation is available at the wellsite (i.e., BAKER HUGHES IWS&S Standards, HSE, exemptions, MOCs, list of personnel, training certification, among other relevant documents).
  • Mobilizing materials, equipment, and services in a timely manner and initiates the removal of redundant materials and the immediate return of rental equipment when it is no longer required.
  • Tracking and monitors all equipment, tools, materials, and human resources arriving/departing from the rig site.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience from the oil and gas industry.
  • Have valid well control certificate (IWCF or IADC).
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of well control best practices and procedures. And about Field Service operations, installation, and maintenance operations.
  • Experience on Drill string design and down hole dynamics, Directional Drilling, Bits / Dull Grading, Hydraulics, including nozzle selection and Drilling fluid management.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Display Teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels, coordinating the job of external Contractors and engineering.
