Job Description

Our Integrated Well Services team works onsite with our customers to support their well construction projectsPartner with the bestAs a Night Drilling Supervisor, you will perform all the abandonment engineering activities within a project or Center of Excellence. You will work according to international and/or local standards and regulations and customer requirements.As a Night Drilling Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe and accident/incident free Well operations and fosters a HSE culture on the rig-site.
  • Ensuring well control best practices are followed as per industry standard and client and Baker Hughes requirements.
  • Leading Baker Hughes integrated well services and operations on the rig in close cooperation with customer and drilling rig contractor.
  • Leading and participates in operation reviews, safety & morning operations meetings, etc.
  • Supervising the operations according to the well activity program.
  • Ensuring timely communication of site reports including the Daily Drilling Reports.
  • Mobilizing materials, equipment, and services in a timely manner and initiates the removal of redundant materials and the immediate return of rental equipment when it is no longer required.
  • Ensuring that all the required documentation is available at the wellsite (i.e. BH IWS Standards, HSE, exemptions, MOCs, list of personnel, training certification, among other relevant documents).
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have bachelor?s in engineering within relevant field. Long experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
  • Have 5+ yrs of relevant experience from the oil and gas industry.
  • Have valid well control certification - IWCF
  • Have experience in HPHT horizontal wells managing land rigs with capacity of 1500+ HP.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of well control best practices and procedures.
  • Have safety management, safety leadership and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) at the wellsite.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge about Field Service operations, installation, and maintenance operations.
  • Be fluent in English (oral and written) and have excellent all-round communication skills
  • Be competent to plan, problem solve, organize, direct and control drilling operations.
