?????????Be aware, understand, communicate and comply with the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Policies and associated documentation ?????????Promote and demonstrate safe behavior within the Mine Operations department. ?????????Strong communication skills. ?????????Ensure the mining contractor is executing mining activities in alignment with the monthly and weekly mine plan to achieve tonnage targets and ore routing in a safe economic manner. ?????????Participate in daily, weekly, production meetings with the mining contractor, engineering, process departments. ?????????Recommend courses of action designed to eliminate potential production problems, defining proper mining methods to improve safety, operational efficiencies, control production costs. ?????????Plan and monitor cleanup for drill patterns ensure crest and toe limits are achieved, monitor and conduct blast hole drilling and blasting activities as per production needs. ?????????Ensure ramps in pit and on waste dumps are at correct gradient and constructed to design. ?????????Excellent technical and production knowledge of Fleet Management Systems, ore control routing and blending. ?????????Demonstrated applied learning in areas of mining safety, methods, standards and continuous business improvement. ?????????Experience in short- and long-term resource planning processes, in relation to mine plan execution. ?????????Coordinate mine services execution activities with other functions, to deliver plan tonnes to the mill following the processing ore blending requirements. ?????????Takes full supervisory responsibility for mining contractors operational execution team on a shift by shift basis. Leads, coaches and mentors employees and supervisors to deliver safe performance. ?????????Relief Mine Superintendent as required.
