Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research and studies to analyze the behavior of capital markets, participants, exchange members, Market Makers, and the various investor groups (retail, DPMs, foreign investors etc.) in order to enhance and analyze the efficiency of Market products.
  2. Market surveillance through monitoring trading activities across multiple markets and asset classes (Equity, Fixed income and Derivatives).
  3. Prepare and develop plans, policies and methodologies to monitor the market in accordance with the best global practices and the companys objectives, policies and strategies.
  4. Handel all capital markets to pinpoint atypical behavior, and report it to higher management and relevant stakeholders.
  5. Create new analytical models to power ongoing insights via Business Intelligence tools.
  6. Support with the business teams and regulators to develop and test exchange products related to market monitoring to enhance market microstructure and exchange regulations .
Key Accountabilities
  1. Carry out daily operations assigned for the Department to comply with the Companys standards.
  2. Prepare timely and accurate Department reports to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the Company and the Department.
  3. Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers to address their needs in a courteous and timely manner.
  4. Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  5. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement.
  6. Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions.
  7. Maintain a good and respectful relationship with other colleagues and represent the company in a good image.
Job Specifications:Education and Certifications:
  • A Bachelors degree in Finance, Business administration or MIS is required.
  • A Masters degree in Finance, Business administration or MIS is preferred.
Knowledge and Experience
  • 3 + years of experience in product development, Performance analysis, compliance or banking.
  • Information Technology background.

  • Experience in an Exchange Risks and Business Continuity Framework
