Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Unit Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing unit by supporting various functions and processes.Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of production activities to meet daily targets and deadlines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise with relevant teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.
  • Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, rejects, and downtime.
  • Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the smooth flow of materials and information within the manufacturing unit.
  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques is a plus.
