Job Description

Advanced Metal Industries Co. (AMIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee and Cristal. Tasnee, signed a joint venture agreement with Japans Toho Titanium Company in January 2014 to build the SAR 1.6 billion project. The titanium sponge project is the regions first of its type to produce 15,600 tons of pure titanium. The company has sent 69 Saudi engineers to train for two years in Japan on producing pure titanium. An exciting opportunity is available for Manager, Engineering & Maintenance, based in Jizan who will reports directly to the GM, Slagger Site. Summary:

  • Provides technical and managerial expertise pertaining to multiple discipline of plant maintenance. Plans/manages the maintenance budget for their total operational area of responsibility. Interprets the long term needs of the business and recommend/implement necessary changes, across the assets under their management, to adapt to these changing demands.
In this role, you will be responsible of:
  1. Develops and monitors (KPIs) and recommend improvements with focus on wider range of maintenance processes and executions.
  2. Initiates and ensures the development of overall Maintenance strategies, policies/procedures in multi disciplines or plant areas
  3. Provides technical and managerial expertise pertaining to multiple discipline of plant maintenance.
  4. Ensures continuity and coordination for major turnaround job design, detailed planning and project execution.
  5. Prepares and controls the departments budget of multi sections/disciplines or large scale of services.
  6. Leads the department in liaison and coordination with related function/departments in conducting maintenance activities.
  7. Leads the Maintenance department in finalizing/controlling contracts, budget of large scale and complex maintenance activities.
  8. Ensures forecasting manpower, spare parts, equipment and duration in order to optimize the utilization of downtime of plant.
  9. Manages the development of multi disciplines staff to ensure that they acquire the necessary skills.
  10. Builds a strong SHE culture in their area demands high standards of SHE performance and models this to the team at all times.
  11. Ensure that quality standards are met & that the relevant information is recorded by the staff on the documents to allow accurate & timely reporting.
  12. Develop maintenance operation and reliability of the site. Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Proactively recognize and act on opportunities for performance improvement
  13. Establishes preventive maintenance and service programs, procedures and record systems in order to audit the service performance.
  14. Maintenance and reliability competence development at site.
  15. Facilitate the ongoing development of knowledge, skills and personal growth of all employees
  16. Manage projects related to area of responsibility.
Minimum Qualification and Experience: . 14 years of Maintenance experience in a similar process industry with Masters or Post Graduate qualification in a specific discipline or MBA. Knowledge & Skills Required:
