Job Description

General SummaryAs the Manager of Data Governance & Quality, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust data governance practices and ensuring the quality, integrity, and compliance of data within the organization, considering the data regulations and standards applicable in Saudi Arabia. You will lead a core team specializing in data laws, regulations, customer consent, data quality, glossary, and catalog management. This role requires a strong background in data governance, data management, and compliance with local data regulations.Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with the data regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia, such as the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) guidelines (or) similar standards elsewhere.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure continuity of business and quality of service.
  • Develop/Manage Budget, RFPs, Contracts, Vendors, and various stakeholders.
  • Establish processes and mechanisms to obtain and manage customer consent for data collection, processing, and usage, ensuring compliance with local data privacy regulations.
  • Define and implement data quality standards, processes, and controls that adhere to the requirements set forth by local data regulations and industry-specific standards in Saudi Arabia.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data glossary and catalog that reflects the specific terminology and metadata relevant to the organizations operations within Saudi Arabia.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a single source of truth for data, ensuring data consistency and integrity across systems.
SkillsQualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
Years Of Experience
  • 6-9 years of experience in a similar role, overseeing data governance and quality initiatives within a complex organizational environment.
