Auto req ID: 273158BR Job Purpose: Lead the shift maintenance team in his area to follow the implementation of the maintenance and preventive maintenance in addition to all other assigned tasks and ensure they all are executed in safe, good and cost-effective manner by Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor. Key Accountabilities: The overall management of Quality, Costs, Service and People with the aid of technicians across all shifts to maintain & Achieving the Line availability & Equipment readiness. Executing the maintenance schedules to maintain the Utilities equipment with-in given engineering standards. Daily contact with Direct Manager/peers. Assigning tasks to the team, guiding them in decision making and prioritising. Decision making on utilisation of spare parts Adhere to all technical problems within the area of responsibility and make sure proper actions are identified and taken and support other areas supervisors if needed. Maintain and implement AIB standards. Identify opportunities, support initiatives and encourage his team to improve production processes in conjunction with production personnel to improve quality, productivity, enhance safety or drive down costs. Ensure that spending is in line with the department budget and direct manager directions. Daily reporting of all shift activities. Ensure all requirements of the safety policies are adhering too. To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the EHS Management System (MS) at area of responsibility in accordance to the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS & Mechanical standards, ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas are in place and EHS targets are achieved. Maintain and implement QFS standards within the area of responsibility. Key job roles both internally and externally that the job-holder interacts with on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. Co-ordinate with OEM engineers/suppliers on related spare parts, troubleshooting, equipment modifications and version up-gradation Local & External spare parts/services contract management & controls on spares inventory Flawless development and execution of the site Asset Care and Maintenance Strategy (including all buildings and utilities) to achieve World class maintenance status. Supervise and support the review of PEMM (PepsiCo Maintenance Methodology) tool and improvement plan for the year, ensuring all key actions of MIAP (Maintenance Improvement Action Plan) are executed and cascaded down into the Engineering Support teams objectives. Have strong interpersonal & leadership skills, collaboration to work with plant?s stakeholders on maintenance tasks and Work Orders, ensuring effective utilization for maintenance resources in executing maintenance plans to deliver the required KPI?s for their areas. Drive Live plant issues through the systems and through the team. Work with the Production team and RM/FG group to leverage release of resource for effective completion of maintenance, ensuring that effective maintenance plans are in place to deliver the required KPI?S for their areas. Through the Reliability Engineering tools and techniques, Support the implementation Maintenance and Reliability M&R KPIs, and ensure there are plans in place to deliver the required targets on all these measures. Support deploying continuous culture improvement initiatives and Failure Analysis techniques (e.g. Root Cause Analysis RCA) through analysing agenda for the site. Drive Engineers to analyse SAPPM data to develop actions plans to permanently solve problems by addressing the root cause (RCA) and major incident report (MIR) Attend the Maintenance forum meetings to share Maintenance Performance, Best Practice, Challenges and achievements. Ensure the effectiveness of the PM schedule by ensuring full compliance to with maintenance plan and run frequent analysis for further improvements and optimizations on this plan and operational performance. Line Management of Maintenance Team & Distribute a daily record of team on their daily scheduling and assignments, and overtime pre-approval sheet and to be finalized and shared on monthly basis. as well as owning their Performance Management Process PMP and Development Plans#LI-MENA Qualifications/Requirements Knowledge/Skills Required: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Mechanical safety standards awareness as well as basic EHS systems. Maintenance Planning & execution system Can read plans and understand plans, diagrams, layouts and schematic drawings (in the field of qualification) Have Quality and Food Safety QFS systems and policies knowledge Environment, Health and Safety EHS systems and policies knowledge Have good knowledge in using MP2 Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office as well as basic knowledge in any Maintenance Management software (CMMS), preferably in SAP-PM. Asset Utilization (Understands the relation Maintenance and availability) Has strong Technical-writing and reporting skills. Can draw up technical policies, procedures, long-term plans, preventive maintenance schedules and programs. Have good command of English language.Experience: Minimum 2 years industrial experience or Diploma in same major with minimum 4 years industrial experience. Equipment Troubleshooting hands on experience Hands-on experience in mechanical equipment includes thermal and hydraulic machines, HVAC systems, rotating and conveying mechanisms, etc. Can lead modifications and small projects as well as activating installations.
