Generate the schedule for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance on a weekly basis and source and provide resources from contractors and vendors to meet the Plant operations objective of keeping the plant running optimally.
Develop a detailed action work list and produce a work schedule for the shutdown (for emergencies) or turnaround (biennially) to meet the business unit (viz. S & D) and Operations reliability objectives.
Review the Management of Change (MOC) Project Package for constructability and feasibility; source materials, equipment and specialist vendors who can deliver the work within the time scale; produce a detailed work schedule to meet plant optimization requirements.
Evaluate the stockholding of each piece of plant equipment for rationalization and determination of dormancy with a view to reducing stock holdings optimally. Review costs of labor equipment, materials, and property with a view to maintaining a cost-effective operational budget.
Review all maintenance invoices with a view to allocating costs to correct budget units and accounting sub-groups.
Review all completed work orders for scheduled vs. unscheduled work and produce a matrix to maintain 80% scheduled vs. 20% unscheduled work.
Provide maintenance department cost parameters for each unit, based on maintenance, project and shutdown costs to be compared with Solomon International benchmarks for management review and comparison with worldwide trends.
Participate in SCP Safety plans and promotions to raise safety awareness; Plan work schedules to create a safe workplace and eliminate environmental non-compliances vs. OSHA, Royal Commission and SCP Standards.
