Coordinate maintenance activities with Operation teams.
Work with procurement to ensure availability of spare parts and material as per requirements.
Oversee and coordinate the department?s automated work order system for facilities management.
Review and analyze maintenance reports.
Manage and supervise contracts.
Work to develop maintenance process improvement strategies as well as resource allocation.
Recommend cost effective solutions to management based on observations.
Provide technical expertise to the team.
Respond to and manage crisis and/or emergency situations when required.
Prepare annual budget plan (Capex & Opex) & forecasts by reviewing operational & maintenance requirements.
Assist Finance in costing by giving adequate inputs.
Manage, coach, and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives, delivers best practice results, and continual improvements.
Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure performance management and record on appropriate systems.
Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels through effective recruitment.
Implement and administer maintenance policies and procedures
Ensure that team members are aware of the company policies and procedures and appropriately trained.
Ensure the implementation of QHSE rules and regulations.
Ensure the availability and usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
