Job Description

### this position is on behalf of one of our client companies, and not a direct role with imploy ###Were seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Logistics Officer to join our team. Youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, from procurement to delivery, contributing to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities

  • :Manage the procurement process for materials and equipment, ensuring timely acquisition and cost-effectiveness
  • .Oversee inventory control, maintaining accurate stock levels and minimizing storage costs
  • .Coordinate domestic and international shipments, selecting the most efficient and cost-effective transportation methods
  • .Prepare and manage shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations
  • .Track shipments in real-time, monitor delivery schedules, and address any delays or issues
  • .Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and picking goods
  • .Maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers, negotiating favorable rates and service levels
  • .Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization strategies
  • .Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures within the warehouse environment
.Qualifications
  • :Minimum X years of experience in logistics or a related field (specify based on seniority)
  • .Strong understanding of logistics principles, including transportation modes, inventory management, and warehousing
  • .Proficient in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • .Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • .Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • .Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • .Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
