Job Description

Sihamco Group is looking for an experienced Live Sound Engineer to join our team. As a Live Sound Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality sound during live performances and events. Your expertise in audio equipment, mixing, and troubleshooting will be crucial in delivering exceptional live sound experiences for our audiences.Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate sound equipment for live performances and events
  • Ensure the proper functioning of audio equipment, including microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and mixing consoles
  • Collaborate with artists, performers, and production teams to understand their sound requirements and preferences
  • Manage sound levels and balances during live performances to ensure optimal sound quality
  • Mix and control audio signals during performances, adjusting levels and sound effects as required
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during live events
  • Coordinate with stage crew and other technical departments to ensure seamless execution of sound requirements
  • Maintain and regularly update knowledge of audio equipment and industry trends
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to create a secure working environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Live Sound Engineer in live performance settings
  • Strong knowledge of audio equipment, including microphones, speakers, mixing consoles, and amplifiers
  • Proficient in setting up and operating sound systems in different performance spaces
  • Extensive experience in audio mixing and sound reinforcement techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and efficiently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with artists and production teams
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for live events
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the live event industry
