The organization provides control solutions for the infrastructure security architecture across the Bank and adapts a rich set of security solutions to arising customer and regulatory needs. As part of this mission, the global Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) platform is seeking a Lead Data Security Engineer who will be a Subject Matter Expert for design, deployment, and Level 3 engineering support that provides guidance for operational management of Endpoint and Cloud security solutions. As Lead Data Security Engineer, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert you will initiate heading engineering work to resolve complex technical issues.What We Offer You:* We offer competitive health and wellness benefits, empowering you to value life in and out of the office * Retirement savings plans, parental leave, and other family-friendly programsReturn to Office:* It is the Bank?s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the McLean office in accordance with the Bank?s hybrid working model * Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion Hear from our people and look inside our office:Your Key Responsibilities:* Responsible Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) for end-to-end ownership of design, deployment, and configuring endpoint security solutions; provide engineering leadership for securing data * Driving data security maturity in a multi-cloud environment such as Google or Azure, deploying CASB tools such as Z Scaler, Symantec, MCAS, or Netskope * Lead strategic product roadmaps, lead engineering efforts to close security gaps, upkeep of application compliance, and resolution of audit findings * Advanced knowledge of Operating Systems (OS), System architecture, and Endpoint agent design such as Windows, Linus, and IOS/Mac Endpoints using industry standard tools to secure data * Knowledge of Asset and Liability Management (ALM) test suite and automation of test scripts to execute testing at scale for CASB or endpoint agent * Effective presentation skills and ability to present benefits of protecting information and preventing data leakage, whilst providing solid justifications for technology spend.Your Skills and Experience:* Minimum degree-level education (or equivalent) in Computer Science or engineering technology related discipline is preferred, along with in-depth experience of Data Security and Data Loss Prevention as a discipline * Extensive technical hands-on experience with engineering or development of Information Protection solutions in large multi-national commercial organizations * Relevant hands-on experience working on an engineering team designing applications for data security management and endpoint security including system architecture, infrastructure design (servers, databases, application, middleware, endpoint agent, OS), global resilience and infrastructure management such as Microsoft Windows, MAC OS, Linux, Android, Apples iOS, and Oracle/SQL database systems * Knowledge and experience in either implementing or integrating applications with Network Infrastructure (Web Proxies, Firewalls, Matrix Switches) over various protocolsHow You?ll Lead:* Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities/experience in managing technology efforts to fruition with a mix of internal and external resources * The ability to work under pressure and deliver against strict deadlines.
