SummaryLeads and coordinates activities of the Technical Assistants and/or assists in specialty areas of the Laboratory.Essential Responsibilities and Duties2. Receives daily schedules and assigns Technical Assistants to specific areas of the Hospital and Clinics for specimen procurement.3. Assists in training new Technical Assistants.4. Oversees distribution of laboratory reports.5. Inventories and requisitions blood collecting supplies.6. Performs all duties of blood collecting, etc. as needed.7. Participates in self and others education, training, and development, as applicable.8. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.EducationBachelors or Associate Degree/Diploma in Medical or Laboratory Technology, or in related majors such as Biochemistry, Biology, or Microbiology is required.Experience RequiredOne(1) year of related experience with Bachelors or two (2) years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)
