A Land Surveyor is responsible for making precise measurements to determine property boundaries, topography, and layouts for construction and infrastructure projects. They collect, analyze, and document data to ensure that engineering and construction work aligns with design plans and legal requirements.Key Responsibilities:Conduct field surveys using GPS, Total Station, Theodolites, and other surveying toolsEstablish control points and reference markers for construction sitesInterpret and analyze survey data for use in maps, plans, and reportsPrepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveysWork closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accuracyVerify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculationsIdentify potential boundary or zoning discrepancies and report findingsMaintain accurate field records and documentationSet out levels, alignments, and reference points on construction projectsEnsure compliance with local land laws, safety, and environmental standards
