Job Description

Job Title: SOC Level 2 AnalystLocation: Riyadh, KSAJob Type: Contract - Full time ongoing project.We are seeking a highly motivated SOC Level 2 Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) and be able to provide support in incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management. The candidate should also have a good understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO, and be familiar with Splunk or ArcSight.Responsibilities:

  • Provide incident response and management to security events escalated from Level 1 Analysts.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of security incidents to identify root cause and provide remediation recommendations.
  • Perform threat hunting and vulnerability management activities to identify security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct investigations and provide reports on security incidents and findings.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of security systems and logs using tools such as Splunk or ArcSight.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 3 analysts, as well as other departments, to ensure timely and effective incident resolution.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements within the SOC.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO.
  • Experience with security tools such as Splunk or ArcSight.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SANS GCIH, or ISC2 CISSP are a plus.
