Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced L2 Information Security Analyst to join our security operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documents, playbooks, policies and frameworks that help us efficiently and effectively respond to security incidents.Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain technical documents such as procedures, guides, and playbooks for incident response and threat hunting.
  • Develop and maintain policies and frameworks related to security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Work closely with the L1, L2 and L3 SOC Analysts to identify areas of improvement in our security operations.
  • Collaborate with other teams such as engineering, compliance, and legal to ensure our security policies and procedures align with company standards and regulations.
  • Participate in tabletop exercises and incident response simulations to ensure our procedures are effective.
  • Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends to ensure our procedures are effective and relevant.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a SOC environment.
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience creating technical documents and playbooks.
  • Understanding of incident response and threat hunting procedures and best practices.
  • Familiarity with security policies and frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
